He added some of the original character <br />might be able to be brought back. He is in support of the project. <br />Stewart stated he was in support as well. <br />Haley made a motion to approve the structural assessment. <br />Fahey seconded the motion. <br />Motion passed 5 -1. Fasick voting no. <br />Probable Cause Determination — 833 Jefferson Avenue <br />Trice presented staff's report. She stated the house was associated to the <br />Soupley and La Salle families. She believes the social history is solid and <br />the overall form is maintained. She believes the criteria for probable cause <br />has been met. <br />Karen and Keith Keller, owners, are interested in landmarking the house to <br />keep it the way it is. They do want an addition placed on the rear of the <br />house for more room but would want to maintain the street facing fagade. <br />Stewart asked what type of siding is on the house. <br />Keller stated it is a plastic sort of siding. <br />Koertje made a motion to approve the probable cause based on the <br />architectural integrity and the social significance. <br />Stewart seconded the motion. <br />The motion as approved 6 — 0. <br />Discussion /Endorsement - Preservation Master Plan- Goals /Objectives <br />Trice presented staff's report. She stated Mary Terese, preservation <br />consultant, will present the goals and objectives. <br />Mary Terese presented the growth maps and presented the exercises which <br />were performed at the open houses. She then presented the goals and <br />objectives: <br />• Goal #1 — Promote public awareness of preservation and <br />understanding of Louisville's cultural, social and architectural history. <br />Discussion ensued regarding goal #1. <br />
