Levihn liked the overall plan, but was concerned that the private streets within might not conform to
the standards of the City. He agreed with Mayer's landscaping concerns.

Spriggs committed to putting landscaping at the corner of Dyer Road.

Sisk was concerned about doing this in a bifurcated manner. He wanted to see the entire parcel. He
pointed out that the signage would fall under the Gateway Design Guidelines. He asked if they would
be willing to go forward with the roadway.

Spriggs: That's correct.

Tom Phare, Public Works Director, pointed out that it is the City's responsibility to build the
roadway. The developer just has the dedication requirement. He would like get the location of the
road pinned down.

Davidson called for public comments.

Ray Schlott, 647 Manorwood Lane, Louisville, Colorado, suggested that thought be given to the
cooking smoke from the restaurants, since there are getting to be so many in that area.

Davidson liked the Diamond Shamrock, Chilies, but felt the Fire Grill looked strange.

Spriggs stated that there is a Fire Grill Council could look at on Arapahoe Road, just west ofi-25
and Quebec.

Davidson suggested that the Planning Commission look at that facility prior to reviewing this. He
wanted the Planning Commission to also look at the entrance into the restaurant/gas station complex,
which he felt was awfully close to McCaslin Boulevard. He wanted more landscaping between the
Diamond Shamrock station and what would be proposed for Lot 1.

Howard moved that Council move this onto the Planning Commission with Council comments.
Seconded by Mayer. All in favor with Keany being absent.

ORDINANCE NO. 1206, SERIES 1995 - AMENDING THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE AS
ADOPTED BY THE CITY AND AMENDING, REPEALING AND REENACTING
CERTAIN SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 15 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE IN
CONNECTION THEREWITH - 1ST READING - SET PUBLIC HEARING 12/5/95

Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1206, Series 1995, "An ordinance amending the Uniform
Fire Code as adopted by the City and amending, repealing and reenacting certain sections of Chapter
15 of the Louisville Municipal Code in connection therewith."
