Village and remand it back to the Planning Commission for their
review and advise. Seconded by Howard.

Peter Stewart, 1132 Jefferson Avenue, Louisville, CO, felt that the
developers did a great job with Plan A. Although, he stated that
if it was to be modeled on "old town" the fronts of the houses
should all be in a line. The setbacks seem to be all different.
He doesn't like parking lots. He prefers to see streets with
alleys as small as they are in "old town", which would solve a lot
of the problems that Council had pointed out.

Mayer wanted to make sure that the zoning met at least RL, lot
coverage, lot size, etc.

Howard wanted to make sure that there is adequate berming and the
sites are going to have to ensure that the parking facilities that
are on the site A are adequately covered for the winter and the
summer in terms of berming, evergreens, as well as deciduous
foliage. He preferred this plan over multi-family housing.

Davidson didn't like Stewart's idea of the street. He liked that
idea that the houses are not all in a line. He liked the plan as
it was laid out.

Ail in favor of the motion.

Sisk asked that this be placed on the earliest Planning Commission
calendar.

Howard wanted to find out if there's anything that can be done to
mitigate the blind spot that is on Pine Street. He didn't want any
blind accesses.

DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - CITY LAND NEEDS ON LASTOKA PROPERTY

Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated that one of the biggest
concerns had been drainage, as it relates to this parcel and the
adjacent parcel. To that end, they have been in a Master Plan
amendment process for the area between Hwy. 42 and the Lafayette
city limits. Currently, the Lastoka property is in both
Louisville's and Lafayette's Master Plan. Phare had asked the
representative of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District,
Ben Urbonos, Chief of the Master Planning section, to give an
update.

Ben Urbonos stated that at this time the drainage from Louisville
comes opposite the Treatment Plant and stops. The drainage from
the north of South Boulder Road comes and stops at Drainage Way 8.
He explained that the problem arose with the fact that there is a
Drainage Way 7 that is supposed to serve both Louisville and
Lafayette. Some conflicts developed between the two (2)
communities and UDFCD cannot seem to make that connection now. In
