Bill Frazier, 1122 West Enclave, Louisville, Colorado, concurred
with Bill Boulet's comments. He was concerned about bicycle safety
along McCaslin and in the entire area in general. He was concerned
about the lighting, traffic flow, the expanse of the parking lot,
and! the building elevations.

Betty Solek, 725 Lincoln Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, read her
letter of concern that she had sent to Council (SEE ATTACHED).

Rex Renfrew, 172 Cherrywood Lane, Louisville, Colorado, was
representing himself, as a resident, and the Cherrywood II
Homeowner's Association. He generally agreed with the previous
co~ents. He felt that the perimeter completion of access and
landscaping was very important and should be completed at the onset
for appearance as you drive down McCaslin.

Davidson called for anyone else in the audience wishing to speak on
Res~olution No. 47.

NONE

Davidson called for Council questions.

Mayer wanted the problem of applying the Centennial Design
guidelines to this project addressed.

Shonkwiler:

The Gateway standards weren't
written from our standards. We gave
those standards to the city and they
wrote the Gateway standards from our
standards, using our exhibits, our
language, our words. We intend to
meet those standards and, in fact,
this project does.

Mayer was concerned about the 35' lighting.

Shonkwiler explained that the three large anchors, Lots 1, 2, and
3, are special cases because they are such large users, are
receiving scrutinous review, and will be pre-approved by Council.
He explained that the six perimeter lots are covered by the design
st&ndards, which limit lighting to 30'. Those are the lots that
are closest to the roadways. With lower lighting, the trees grow
so tall that they get in the way of the lower lighting, which is
unsafe.

Mayer:

Open space is mentioned at 17% for
this particular parcel. The
guidelines that would govern the
whole parcel from the Gateway
standards are 25%. Do you feel that
would present a problem?
