The Planning Commission heard this request on October 12th and forwarded a recommendation of approval without condition, with Council approving this ordinance on 1st reading on November 3, 1993. Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. NONE Davidson opened the public hearing asking for anyone in the audience wishing to speak in favor or against Ordinance No. 1131. NONE Davidson closed the public hearing. Sisk moved that Council adopt Ordinance No. 1131, Series 1993, on 2nd and final reading. Seconded by Howard. Roll was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Hedding being absent. ORDINANCE NO. 1132, SERIES 1993 - VACATING A PORTION OF FRONT STREET LOCATED IN THESOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M. WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVITWm, COIDRADO- 2NDREADING -PUBLICHEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 11/4/93) Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1132, Series 1993, "An ordinance vacating a portion of Front Street located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 8, Township 1 South, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M. within the City of Louisville, Colorado." Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that a neighborhood meeting was held on November 18, 1993, at which time considerable opposition from the neighborhood was voiced over the street vacation. He commented that the applicant, as well as staff, recommends that the Council not approve the motion to vacate the right-of-way and that Council refer the Plat and the PUD back to the Planning Commission for re-review under two separate items: the right-of-way vacation for a smaller portion of the right-of- way; the Plat and PUD given the scope of the change as a result of maintaining the through street. Mayer stated that they had scheduled the seconded meeting for this Thursday, the same time Council will be considering the Centennial Marketplace Development. He felt the meeting needed to be re- scheduled or appropriate staff available to attend the meeting.
