Unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION #17 - ANNEXATION PETITION - <br />BROWN Resolution #17, "'A Resolution of the City Council <br />of the City of Louisville finding substantial <br />compliance of an annexation petition filed by Paul <br />N. Brown and Susan J. Brown and initiating <br />annexation proceedings for certain property and <br />establishing a time for a public hearing to <br />determine if the proposed annexation complies with <br />statutory requirements." <br />Wanush explained that the applicants request <br />Council review of their Annexation Petition to <br />determine if it is in substantial compliance with <br />the "Municipal Annexation Act of 1965" 31-12-107 <br />(1). The parcel is a single lot of .98 acres <br />located in unincorporated Boulder County adjacent <br />to Louisville City limits north of So. Boulder Rd. <br />and west of Continental View Dr. Rezoning is <br />requested which is the same as Continental View <br />Estates east of the property. Applicant is also <br />seeking subdivision of said property (to be <br />considered concurrently with annexation) to result <br />in two lots: one containing Applicant's residence <br />and one vacant which will be offered for sale. <br />Staff is asking ghat Council refer this request to <br />Planning Commission for review and comment and <br />adopt Resolution #17, Series 1988. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Scarpella seconded to adopt <br />Resolution #17, Series 1988 wherein a public <br />hearing is set fo:r June 7, 1988, and the request <br />will be forwarded to the Planning Commission. <br />Unanimous. <br />AUTHORIZATION TO SOLICIT RFP FOR CLUB HOUSE <br />ARCHITECT Anderson and Sacks=_tt asked to be excused from the <br />proceedings on this issue to avoid possible <br />conflict of interest. <br />Wanush stated than as part of the design work for <br />the golf course, ithe City needs to engage an <br />architect to design a club house and to advise the <br />City on design and site planning relating to a <br />maintenance building, parking lots, access <br />roadways, landscaping in the area of the club <br />house and parking lot, and furnishings.
