Resolution #19 establishes a public hearing to <br />determine if this annexation complies with <br />Colorado Revised Statutes for June 20, 1988 and <br />refers the annexation request to the Planning <br />Commission for review. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Carnival seconded to adopt <br />Resolution #19, Series 1988 and set a public <br />hearing for June 20, 1988. The motion passed 5-0- <br />1 with Anderson abstaining. <br />Anderson rejoined the remainder of the meeting. <br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT - BUILDING OFFICIAL MUTUAL <br />AID Wanush stated this Agreement is among the cities <br />of Boulder, Broomfield, Louisville, Lafayette and <br />Longmont and Bou:Lder County calling for the <br />sharing of building department personnel in the <br />event of a disaster in any of the above <br />jurisdictions. Thais disaster must be officially <br />called by the City Manager or Mayor. <br />Anderson moved and Scarpella seconded to approve <br />and sign the Building Official Mutual Aid <br />Agreement. Unanimous. <br />AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD BIDS - <br />SEAL PROJECT Phare <br />SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND STREET CHIP <br />explained that on May 10, 1988, bids were <br />opened on the 1988 CIP projects for Concrete <br />Replacement and Asphalt Patching and Chip Seal. <br />The low bid for Concrete Replacement was from <br />Vinson's Contractor Inc. at $20,926.50. The low <br />bid for Asphalt Patching and Chip Seal was from A- <br />1 Paving Construction Co. at $32,061.65. The <br />Public Works Depari:ment has worked with both low <br />bidders and feels they are qualified and capable <br />to undertake the work. <br />The 1988 CIP contains a <br />concrete replacement <br />installation. The differ <br />amount and bid amount can <br />of the project and undert <br />replacement work.
