Concrete Contractors Inc. at their low unit price <br />bid of $20,926.85 and award of the 1988 Asphalt <br />Patching and Chip Seal Project to A-1 Paving <br />Construction Co. ait their low unit price bid of <br />$32,061.65 with authorization for the Mayor and <br />City Clerk to sign contract documents on behalf of <br />the City. Unanimous. <br />TEMPORARY USE PERMIT FOR LANDSCAPE MATERIAL SALES - SET PUBLIC <br />HEARING Wanush explained ghat St. Vrain Landscaping is <br />requesting Temporary Permit to allow use of a <br />portion of Parcel "E" in Centennial Valley to sell <br />landscaping materials. The site would constitute <br />25,000-30,000 s.f. at the intersection of Via <br />Appia and McCaslin Boulevard. Parcel E is zoned <br />PCZD (Retail/Office). Council is being asked to <br />set a public hearing on this request for June 7, <br />1988. <br />Szymanski was opposed to this use at this site and <br />wasn't in favor of setting a public hearing. <br />Wanush stated that he felt it was appropriate to <br />set a public hearing to discuss the merits and <br />drawbacks to this use and those issues could be <br />dealt with at that time. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Mohr seconded to set a <br />public hearing for June 7, 1988, to consider the <br />Temporary Use Permit requested by St. Vrain <br />Landscaping. Unanimous. <br />ORDINANCE #953 <br />"ORDINANCES" - <br />HEARING <br />- AMENDMENT TO LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED <br />SET PUBLIC <br />Williamson read in its entirety Ordinance #953, <br />"An Ordinance amending Title 1 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code entitled "Ordinances" by modifying <br />the requirement that a proposed ordinance be read <br />in its entirety." <br />Williamson stated i:hat adoption of this Ordinance <br />provides for the following: whenever the reading <br />of an ordinance, or of a code which is to be <br />adopted by reference, is required by statute, or <br />by City Code, any such requirement shall be deemed <br />to be satisfied if the title of the proposed <br />ordinance is read and the entire text of the <br />proposed ordinance, or of any code which is to be <br />adopted by reference, is submitted in writing to <br />the Council before adoption. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Scarpella seconded to place <br />Ordinance #953 out. for publication and a public <br />hearing be set for June 7, 1988.
