Cherry Street, Klinger stated that the water would run on a timer. In addition, Council. asked that prior to the final plat, staff address the issue of the narrow streets in the cul~-de-sacs proposed in Area E. The major concern was access to plows and emergency equipment. With no further questions or concerns, Mayor Fauson called for a motion. Mohr moved and Ferrera seconded to adopt Resolution #31, Series 1988. Motion passed 5-0 by Roll Call Vote. Sackett rejoined the meeting. RESOLUTION #32 - TAMARISK COURT - SUBDIVISION Resolution #32, ~>eries 1988, "A Resolution approving a final plat for Tamarisk Court Subdivision." Franklin explained that the applicant, Land Development Group Inc., is requesting an 18 lot subdivision of approximately 11.8 acres on Parcel "R" of Homart's Centennial Valley General Development Plan. The General Development Plan specifies that thE~ parcel (zoned PCZD-R) may include 52 single :Family dwelling units and at least 20 acres of open space. Planning Commission reviewed the subdivision request and approved same August 9, 1988. A neighborhood meeting was held on August 3, 1988 to address concerns of surrounding residents. Several residents adjacent to the proposed development did not want to see the land development into residential. Michael Rennich of 669 W. Hickory St. and Don Taylor 611 W. Sagebrush Drive addressed Council stating their desire to see the area remain open space. Mr. Rennich stated that although he was told it would not remain open space, it was his understanding that the character of thE~ area would remain unchanged. Mayor Fauson than}ced them for their comments stating that the area had been designated as single family residential at the time the General Development Plan was approved. This evening was simply approving the final plat for the subdivision. 4
