Commission reviewed and approved this proposal. <br />The applicants have furnished the required cash <br />in-lieu of land dedication. <br />Mr. Terry B. Barnhart, a planning consultant for <br />the applicant, Mr. Fordyce, gave a presentation of <br />the site plan and building concept. <br />Mohr moved and Mayor Fauson seconded to adopted <br />Resolution #41, Series 1988. By Roll Call Vote, <br />Resolution #41, Series 1988 was adopted 5-0-1 <br />(Anderson abstaining). <br />RESOLUTION #42 - CRYSTAL ESTATES - SPECIAL <br />REVIEW USE Read in its entirety, Resolution #42, Series 1988, <br />"A Resolution approving a Special Review Use for <br />Crystal Estates Subdivision." <br />Franklin explained that along with Council <br />approval of the previous item, Gordon Fordyce is <br />requesting Special Review Use on .6 acres of land <br />to construct and operate an automobile body shop <br />and Tube center. Planning Commission reviewed and <br />recommended approval of this proposal. <br />Ferrera moved and Mohr seconded to adopted <br />Resolution #42, Series 1988. By Roll Call Vote, <br />Resolution #42, Series 1988 was adopted 5-0-1 <br />(Anderson abstaining). <br />Anderson rejoined the meeting. <br />OTHER: <br />GOLF COURSE TOUR Stahl stated that he: and Phare will be taking <br />Council on a tour of the golf course site on <br />Sunday to answer any questions regarding the <br />construction. <br />AUTHORIZATION TO OBTAIN BIDS - EFFLUENT PIPELINE AT WATER TREATMENT <br />PLANT Phare explained that. included in the 1988 Capital <br />Improvements Program for the Water Fund is <br />installation of a 29:" Effluent Pipeline at the <br />Water Treatment Plant. This pipeline was included <br />in the original plant design but was later <br />eliminated as a cost: savings measure. As flows <br />increase, staff feels that installation of the <br />pipe line is warranted in order to ensure <br />reliability of the plant. Staff is seeking <br />Council authorizatic>n to obtain bids for the Water <br />Treatment Plant 24" Effluent Pipeline. <br />Mayor Fauson moved and Mohr seconded to authorize <br />staff to obtain bid: for the Water Treatment Plant <br />24" Effluent Pipeline. Motion passed unanimously. <br />7 <br />
