Unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION #55 - HEALTH PARK SPECIAL <br />REVIEW USE (Sackett and Anderson asked to be excused for this <br />item due to possible conflict of interest.) <br />Rautenstraus read in its entirety Resolution #55, <br />"A Resolution approving a Special Review Use for <br />Rocky Mountain Affiliated Adventist Health <br />Services." <br />Wanush explained that the applicants request <br />special review of a proposed health park to be <br />developed on the recently annexed 72 acre parcel <br />known as the Spicer property. They propose to <br />eventually develop a. hospital complex of up to 400 <br />beds plus clinical and service uses of <br />approximately 250,000 s.f. Planning Commission <br />approved the special review use at the public <br />hearing on December 10, 1986. Uses of the complex <br />include diagnosis, treatment and care of human <br />ailments, nursing homes, retirement homes, <br />hospitals, doctors' offices and other health <br />related facilities and other commercial accessory <br />ventures that may or may not be associated with <br />this venture such as credit unions, eating places, <br />gift shops, pharmacies, motels, medical equipment <br />stores, mental health centers, optical shops, child <br />day care centers and. health clubs. <br />Mayor Fauson moved that Council approve the Health <br />Park Special Review Use be adopted.
