Hundley assured Council that the work at the
plant is proceeding on schedule.
UPDATE ON HARPER
LAKE PROJECT Council`s packet included the update on the Harper
Lake Project. The project should be complete by
mid-August. When ready, Harper Lake will give
Louisville the flexibility to utilize to a maximum
benefit the City`s judicated water rights.
UPDATE ON CITY ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS Hundley met with tYie Chamber of Commerce Board and
discussed setting a joint meeting for April 23rd.
The Chamber is formulating a proposal for a
program and will present it to Council at this
meeting.
This will be an open meeting and the entire
business community is welcome to attend.
UPDATE ON THE
BROOMFIELD ANNEXATION George DiCero, Broomfield City Manager, still has
not contacted Hundley regarding their recent
annexation. They should be submitting a plan to
their City Council soon and will then contact
Hundley to set a joint meeting of Councils.
IMPACT OF THE 1986
FEDERAL BUDGET CUTS As related to Council in their packets, the single
greatest direct impact on Louisville would be the
elimination of the City`s Revenue Sharing Fund
which receives approximately $66,000 per year in
Federal Funds.
LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL
TRACK INN Cussen asked that this item be pulled from the
Consent Agenda as he has two main concerns. The
first is the nature of some of the violations that
were reported and secondly, the growing number of
incidents each time there is a renewal submitted.
Mayor Meier commented that the managers were
calling more frequently as Council had requested
and that in itself showed better compliance and
also created a larger list of "incidents reported"
in this liquor license renewal request.
Cussen felt that many of the incidents were not
of a usual nature and that there were several
calls where outside assistance from other
jurisdictions was :needed to control the problem.
This bar seems to have more than its share of
unruly incidents.
4
