Davidson read and presented Resolution No. 32, Series 1994, to former City Administrator Annette <br />Brand. <br /> <br />Brand read the Oath of the Athenian City-State and thanked Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO FORWARD FIFTH AMENDMENT TO THE U.S. 36 <br />INTERCHANGE TO COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> <br />Dan Blankenship, City Engineer, stated that Public Works Director Tom Phare felt this should not <br />be approved by the City at this time, but forwarded to the.State, CDOT, for their review. It was <br />Phare's feeling that this would be approved in parallel with the proposed amendment to the <br />development agreement with Homart. <br /> <br />Don Shonkwiler, HD Delaware Properties, Inc. (formerly Homart), 400 South McCaslin, Louisville, <br />Colorado, commented that these items ought to be spelled out completely in a Development <br />Agreement in parallel with the fifth amendment to the Interchange Agreement after the State's review. <br /> <br />Keany moved that Council forward this on to the CDOT for their approval. Then Council will review <br />it. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1150, SERIES 1994, AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A PORTION OF A <br />STREET KNOWN AS "ORCHARD DRIVE" AS DESIGNATED ON THE PLAT OF TltE <br />MEADOWS AT COAL CREEK TO "ORCHARD WAY" - 2ND READING - PUBLIC <br />HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 5/21/94) <br /> <br />Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1150, Series 1994, "An ordinance renaming a portion of <br />the street known as "Orchard Drive" as designated on the plat of "The Meadows at Coal Creek" to <br />"Orchard Way." <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the proposal is to leave Orchard Drive in place from the <br />westerly access point on Cherry Street to Pear Court. From Pear Court to the easterly access on <br />Cherry Street. Orchard Drive would become "Orchard Way." This ordinance was initiated at the <br />request of the Louisville Postmaster. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing asking for anyone in the audience wishing to speak on Ordinance <br />No. 1150. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public heating and called for Council comments, questions, or motions. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1150, Series 1994 on second and final reading. <br />Seconded by Lathrop. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Howard being absent. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
