Staff is <br />recommending that Council award the 2003 Street Reconstruction and Concrete <br />Replacement Project to Lafarge West, Inc., per their bid price of $1,129,017.35. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENT <br /> <br />Davidson reported the Finance Committee discussed the bid at the May 5th meeting. <br />Sisk noted the Finance Committee also discussed looking at an extension of Roosevelt <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Phare suggested contracting to start the engineering at the Dillon Road project, the Bella <br />Vista improvements and connection project. <br /> <br />MOTION: Brown moved that Council award the 2003 Street Reconstruction and <br />Concrete Replacement Project to Lafarge West, Inc., in the amount of $1,129,017.35, <br />seconded by Van Pelt. Roll call vote was taken.
