The Uniform Planning Code is then the basis
utilized to fixture counts to set a tap size, rather than gallons per minute. The building official would
have discretion to reduce the number of fixture units used, as set forth in Table 10-1 of the Uniform
Planning Code. Up to 30% may be allowed in reduction, as determined at the discretion of the chief
building official, upon submittal documentation showing the usage of energy efficient plumbing
fixtures.

Davidson opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance No. 1156.

4
