Davidson called for anyone else wishing to speak on this Ordinance. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments or motions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1159, Series 1994, on second reading and <br />approve the following ballot title for the November 8, 1994, Special Election, "Shall the position of <br />the Louisville City Clerk be made appointive rather than elective, the appointment to be made by the <br />City Council." Seconded by Sisk. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 4 - 2 vote with Keany <br />and Howard voting against and Levihn being absent. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION <br />COMPLEX <br /> <br />ANNEXATION LETTER <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE SPORTS <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated that in conjunction with the Intergovernmental <br />Agreement and what was outlined as the property useable for the sports complex, Louisville needs <br />to begin annexing this property, which was part of the initial discussion, so the city can provide the <br />services there. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions or motions. <br /> <br />Keany encouraged the Planning Commission, Planning Department, and any other department <br />involved in this process to expedite this at every possible step along the way. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council accept the letter of interest for the annexation for the Louisville Sports <br />Complex and refer this letter to the Planning Commission. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 47, SERIES 1994 - APPROVING A FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN FOR LOT 4 CENTENNIAL VALLEY PARCEL O - CENTENNIAL MARKETPLACE <br />- MCDONALD'S <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the location of the property is at the northeast corner of <br />McCaslin Boulevard and Dillon Road, Lot 4 (approximately 1 acre), Centennial Valley, Parcel O, <br />Filing 3. They propose to construct a 3,000 s.f. McDonald's Restaurant with an attached 1,400 s.f. <br />indoor playland for a total of 4,400 s.f. Maximum building height is 17.5' and 22' for the Playland. <br />There will be two wall signs. The McDonald's sign is approximately 50 s.f. and the Playland sign is <br />80 s.f., with both exceeding the maximum 48 s.f. permitted by the Centennial Marketplace Retail <br />Design Guidelines. There will be on-site landscaping of 25%. The Planning Commission held a <br />public hearing on August 11, 1994, and approved the request with a 4 - 0 vote, with the condition <br />that all wall signs shall comply with Centennial Marketplace Design Guidelines, which was staff's <br />recommendation as well. <br /> <br /> <br />
