Fraker:

number of years.

At this stage, I'm not willing to
commit, exactly, because I don't
know the answer.

Howard:

Franklin:

Staff, has all of our open space
dedication been met and has it been
met in a clean manner? I mean, it's
not part of detention ponds or any
thing like that.

The rough calculation of the
dedication requirements of all of
the properties involved including
the already annexed property is 3.72
acres. Jim, please recap the
acreage of the park and the drainage
area.

Fraker:

I can say that we have in the total
area within the development
approximately 3.8 acres of open
space. Of this, approximately 65%
of the area in the southeast corner
is completely park system and has no
detention facilities on it at all.
Approximately 35% has gently
slopping banks on it.

Franklin:

Recapping, the actual park area, as
opposed to the open space used as
part of the Public Service Company
bike path, is about an acre and a
half or a little less than half the
required open space dedication for
the property. The bulk of the open
space beyond that would include the
detention open space area which is
part of that southeast corner. This
sketch proposal would propose to
count the Public Service Company
property which they would purchase
and dedicate for public use. That's
how they would meet it. A little
over an acre and a half of formal
flatland park area; 2.5 acre balance
in other land; open space, bike path
and so forth.

Howard:

Does this bike path connect up to
existing bike paths on both sides?

9
