Basically, <br />what it amounts to is use of the <br />Louisville Recreation Center for May <br />9, 1992, and it has already been <br />penciled in by Steve Baysinger. The <br />earlier closing time, staff time to <br />run the facility, custodial <br />overtime, and police support of two <br />officers for security. <br /> <br />Sisk moved to have Council grant Mr. Meier's request. <br />Howard. <br /> <br />Seconded by <br /> <br />Davidson added a friendly amendment to refer the financing to the <br />Finance Committee. All in favor. <br /> <br />A~rOURNED TO EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />REPORT CONCERNING EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Griffiths, stated items discussed during Executive Session were <br />matters of pending litigation, involving the City of Louisville. <br />Particularly, to respond to questions from the City Council <br />regarding pending litigation involving the City of Louisville, <br />particularly from members of the Council who were relatively new to <br />the Council and did not have a history on some of that litigation. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO APPROVE 1992 AGREEMENT FOR ELECTRICAL INSPECTION <br />SERVICES <br /> <br />Davidson explained that the reason he asked that this be moved from <br />the Consent Calendar to the Regular Agenda was that as he read the <br />contract, page two, paragraph six, "this agreement may be <br />terminated, at any time, without cause, by mutual agreement of both <br />parties." It seemed to him that the City should not enter into a <br />two year agreement for a sub-contractor, where it takes a mutual <br />agreement of the parties to terminate it.
