in the Roundtable tomorrow night.
It would be very nice to have that
kind of information. It would be
nice to have that information before
we sit down with the School Board.
I would like to know what the City's
position really is.

Mayer:

I would prefer that the City not be
in an adversarial position with the
developers. It would be helpful to
the City if they would be part of
the solution here.

Davidson asked that the record show that Councilman Howard is now
present (7:26 p.m.).

Mayer moved that Council place Ordinance No. 1074, Series 1992 out
for publication and set a Public Hearing for June 2, 1992.
Seconded by Hornbostel. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a
5-0 vote (Howard abstaining and Lathrop excused).

RESOLUTION NO. 30, SERIES 1992 -RED AND GOLD BOTTLING CORP. FINAL
PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN

John Franklin, Director of Community Development, explained that
the Red and Gold Bottling Corp. is to be located at the Colorado
Tech Center. The applicant,, Mr. Colacci/Red and Gold Bottling
Corp., is represented tonight by his architect. This is a two
phase development program, the initial phase being a 7,200 sq. ft.
food processing center. Phase 2 will allow for future expansion.
The Planning Commission reviewed this matter at a Public Hearing
and did recommend approval with a couple of conditions. The two
conditions were:

1.) That the applicant provide an 8 ft. high trash enclosure.

2.)

A deletion of a staff recommendation that the property
owner install a street light as part of the development.
The Planning Commission chose not to accept that
condition, which translates that the responsibility for
the street light installation would fall to the developer
and/or the Metropolitan District out there. If neither
of those entities were capable, the City would have to
decide how the street lights would get installed as
development progressed in the Colorado Tech Center. The
City may have to look at assessing the property owners.

Davidson asked if the applicant wished to make a presentation.

8
