The trail easement that would go
from St. Andrews up to Dillon Road
is a future trail easement, so that
in the future we could have a trail
that would connect with Coal
Creek/Rock Creek Trail with an
underpass at Dillon Road that would
help to connect to StorageTech and
other future developments along 88th
Street and Dillon Road. This is in
the Louisville Trails Master Plan.

Mayer:

I have great concerns about the
number of road crossings that the
Trail makes and the safety of the
Trail.

Dufty:

The Trail has to be well signed and
the road has to be striped. I wish
there were some other way that we
wouldn't have to make as many
crossing as we have. Having
reviewed this, it's going to be very
difficult to do this. The gas line
easement comes through that
particular piece of property. We
are on the gas line easement,
because that land they couldn't
develop. It does cross streets, but
it doesn't cross anybody's driveway,
which was one of our biggest
concerns. The trail users or people
in the driveway don't pay any
attention.

Lathrop asked for clarification as to where the easement would be
located.

Dufty pointed the location out on the map (VIDEO TAPE AVAILABLE).

James A. Maurer, 445 Greenwood Lane, Longmont, CO, owner of the
land just adjacent to Outlot I.

Mauer:

After talking with the Planning &
Zoning Commission, it was agreed
that the easement would be granted
to us to come off of the Developers
road down below the hill for a few
reasons: one, so that if we develop
it into two lots we won't have two
driveways entering and exiting on
Dillon Road, since the long term

14
