The Fire District Board is
aware that we do have a five year
contract, so I don't think you'll
see the District committing beyond
that term unless we extend that
contract first.

This was dedicated as Public Land
and I'm concerned about turning that
over to a private company when it's
not clear what the long term
arrangement is going to be. That's
why the "reverter" clause was in
there.

I can't speak to why it was in
there, because I didn't represent
the City at that juncture. The City
staff recommended that and that was
what was approved by the Council at
that time. At this juncture there's
no specific commitment to transfer
to that property. If this Council
chose to make that a part of the
condition, then we would try to work
within those parameters, that the
Fire District retain ownership of
the parcel of property. We're
concerned that if we build a
facility there that says A-1
Ambulance, that the or the Council
is not put in a position to answer a
lot of questions that we hadn't
already tried to answer.

You have an additional approximately
two acres to work with?

That's correct.

You anticipate building a multi-use
structure?

That's the discussions at this point
and time.

That could accommodate a District
owned or a privately owned
ambulance?

4
