Jorgensen:

clarification on it. On the third
question it says it's the drainage
plan for the subdivision complete.
I've looked at this map and it says
under "C" that the designated
detention areas within the open
space contain capacity for almost
double the minimum required by the
City. Is that detention area
located in the City open space
property on this property?

It's located within outlot C, which
is the City open space area. It was
a part of the original subdivision
development. In other words, this
detention is used for the existing
Hillsborough West subdivision, as
well as the proposed Ridgeview
subdivision.

Hornbostel:

Is there going to be any wetlands
mitigation?

Jorgensen:

The wetlands area is primarily
within the City open space. We
don't planlto be within that area,
other than to construct the roadway.
Primarily, the area that you're
referring to as wetlands is one of
the existing detention ponds. There
are two (2) detention ponds in the
site: One is located north toward
South Boulder Road; the other larger
detention pond is in the southeast
corner.

Hornbostel:

I'm not reaTly pleased with the fact
that we're going to be providing
detention for the subdivision.
We're talking about erosion control
on the south side. What happens to
our open space in the back? Are we
going to have a pond back there? I
don't see where you're providing for
detention for what's coming off of
this property.

Jorgensen:

There is a detailed report, which I
have a copy of here, which was
submitted to staff as a part of the
subdivision requirements for their

24
