N. Impact Fee Study The study entitled City of Louzsvzlle, Colorado Development <br />Impact Fee Study, prepared by TischlerBise dated August 25, 2011 April 18, 2017 <br />P. Level of Service (LOS) A measure of the relationship between service capacity <br />and service demand for capital facilities (in this chapter ... , <br />library capital facilities, transportation capital facilities, and/or parks and trails capital <br />facilities, <br />Section 3. Subsection R of Section 3.18.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code, <br />setting forth a definition of "municipal capital facilities," is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Section '4. Subsection B of Section 3 18 030 of the Louisville Municipal Code is <br />hereby amended by the addition of a new definition of "floor area," to be inserted alphabetically <br />in said Section, to read as follows - <br />Floor area The total finished square footage of all levels included within the outside <br />walls of a building or portion thereof, but excluding courts, garages having no habitable <br />area, uninhabitable areas that are located above the highest habitable level, or <br />uninhabitable areas that are located below the first floor level <br />Section 5. Subsection B of Section 3 18 040 of the Louisville Municipal Code is <br />hereby amended by the addition of a new Subsection B 8, reading as follows: <br />B. Exemptions The following types of development shall be exempted from <br />payment of the impact fees. Any claim for exemption shall be made no later than the <br />time when the applicant applies for the first building permit. Any claim for exemption not <br />made at or before that time shall be waived The city planning director or designee shall <br />determine the validity of any claim for exemption pursuant to the standards set forth <br />below <br />8. Small Additions and Renovatzons for Residential Uses. Construction of an <br />addition to an existing dwelling unit of five hundred square feet or less, or expansion of <br />finished space for an existing dwelling unit of five hundred square feet or less. This <br />exemption shall only be used one time for each dwelling unit in existence on July 1, <br />2017. <br />Section 6. Subsections A.4., A 5 and C.1.(a) of Section 3.18 040 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words deleted are ken-tkeugh; words <br />added are underlined: <br />Sec. 3.18.040 Development impact fees to be imposed. <br />Ordinance No 1737, Series 2017 <br />Page 4 of 10 <br />
