Pedersen respectfully declined. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Keany moved that Council direct Staff and the City <br />Attorney to draft a resolution of denial for the application, and continue deliberation on <br />the matter until the May 4, 2004 meeting. Council member Van Pelt seconded the <br />motion. Roll <br />call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 4-2. Council members Marsella and <br />Levihn voted no. Council member Brown absent. <br /> <br />RECESS: Mayor Sisk called for a 5-minute recess at 9:07 p.m. Mayor Sisk called the <br />meeting back to order at 9:12 p.m. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23, SERIES 2004 - A RESOLUTION CONCERNING A <br />PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, KNOWN AS THE SAVAGE ANNEXATION, AND <br />FINDING THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED ELIGIBLE FOR <br />ANNEXATION <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light explained Staff's presentation and the public hearing on the <br />Savage property would be inclusive of Council Agenda Items 7G through 7K. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood reported that Resolution No. 23, Series 2004, would find <br />the Savage Parcel, eligible for annexation. He reported the execution of the Savage <br />Property Annexation Agreement is required prior to final action by City Council on <br />Savage Annexation Ordinance No. 1444, Series 2004. Wood reviewed Page 2, of the <br />Annexation Agreement and noted the following: The pro-rata share due and payable (as <br />determined from the Development Fee Schedule effective January 1, 2004) for Lot #1 is <br />$774.86, and the pro-rata share due and payable for Lot 3 is $1,148.40. He noted the <br />recovery fee for Spruce Street improvements installed in connection with the Treehaven <br />Subdivision have yet to be calculated, therefore the dollar amounts are blank on the <br />annexation agreement. <br /> <br />Wood reviewed Ordinance No. 1444, Series 2004, which will annex a 4.98-acre parcel <br />known as the Savage Annexation. Property owners Bruce and Ilene Savage have <br />initiated by petition annexation of their 4.98-acre parcel to the City of Louisville. With <br />respect to Ordinance No. 1445, Series 2004, the parcel is currently zoned SF - Suburban <br />Residential by Boulder County. The annexation petition requests the property be zoned <br />concurrently with the annexation to Single Family Low Density (SF-LD). The sellers <br />intend to create three buildings lots, one of which will contain the existing single-family <br />residence. Two new building lots (Lots 1 and 3) will be created.
