If needed, the Parks crews will be asked to assist in snow removal. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />ORDINANCE No. 1530, SERIES 2008 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN <br />EXCHANGE WITH THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />(CDOT) OF RIGHT-OIF-WAY PARCELS ASSOCIATED WITH THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF SOUTH 96T" STREET/STATE HIGHWAY 42 <br />CONNECTION PROJECT -1St Reading -Set Public Hearing <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1530, Series 2008 and requested the <br />public hearing be set for the i~irst City Council meeting in February. <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to approve Ordinance No. 1530, Series 2008 on <br />first reading, send it out for publication and set a public hearing for the first City <br />Council meeting in February, seconded by Councilor Clabots. All in favor. <br />RESOLUTION No. 1, SERIES 2008 - A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2008 <br />BUDGET BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO -Public Hearing <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br />City Manager Fleming explained the Shop Louisville Campaign was funded in <br />2007 as part of the activities of the Business Retention and Development <br />Committee. He asked Public Relations Manager Muth to make the presentation. <br />Public Relations Manager Muth stated the Business Retention and Development <br />(BRaD) Committee launched the Shop Louisville Campaign in 2007. The <br />campaign encourages residents to shop in the City of Louisville. The funding <br />options for 2008 were not available at the time the budget was adopted in <br />October. The Shop LouisvillE; Campaign contractor, ZVC, Inc., prepared a <br />proposal for 2008 services wiith the caveat their services would not exceed <br />$30,000. ZVC, Inc. proposed to conduct the program with the following eight <br />elements: <br />1) Shop Louisville Signac~e <br />2) Shop Louisville IntercE;pt Media <br />3) Promotion of Shop Louisville with City Communications and Events <br />
