City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 18, 2008 <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />asked for the deletion of "or slhould they be permitted to be developed as a <br />satellite community." He explained it is not ConocoPhillips intent and the City <br />should not consider it. There was Council consensus. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Marsella askE;d whether the Comprehensive Plan Update would <br />be ready by August of 2008. Planning Director Wood stated with the additional <br />half-time staff member startirng in April, the August deadline could be met. <br />MOTION: Councilor Muckle moved to direct Staff to proceed with the scope of <br />work for updating the Comprehensive Plan, seconded by Councilor Sackett. Roll <br />call vote was taken. The motiion carried by a vote of 7-0. <br />Mayor Sisk congratulated Planning Director Wood and the Planning Staff. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION -REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION - DILLON ROAD <br />PROJECT (Louisville Code Hof Ethics, Section 5-2 (c), CRS 24-6-402 (4) (a) - <br />Authorized Topics) <br />REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS SUSPENDED <br />City Manager Requested the City Council Convene An Executive Session <br />For The Purpose Of Consideration Of Real Property Acquisitions, <br />Associated with the Dillon Road Project. Code of Ethics Sec. 5-2(c), of the <br />Louisville Charter, CRS 24-~6-402(4) (a) <br />City Manager Fleming requested the City Council convene an executive session <br />for the Purpose of Consideral:ion of real property acquisitions associated with the <br />Dillon Road Project. <br />City Attorney Light cited the section of the Louisville Municipal Code (Section 5-2 <br />(c), in consideration of water rights and real property acquisitions and <br />dispositions, but only as to appraisals, value estimates, and strategy, which <br />permits executive sessions. He noted the State Open Records Law, under <br />Colorado Revised Statutes 24-6-402 (4) (a) also permits executives sessions. <br />City Clerk Varra read Section 2.90.050 Public statement of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, which governs topics discussed in an executive session. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved Council convene an executive session for the <br />purpose of consideration of rE;al property acquisitions, associated with the Dillon <br />Road Project. Councilor Dalton seconded the motion. All in favor. The Council <br />went into executive session at 8:40 p.m. <br />REGULAR, BUSINESS ITEMS CONTINUED <br />
