The October BRaD meeting agenda <br />wilt include a Round Table discussion on how economic agencies work, both in <br />the public and private sector. Mr. Phillip Salazar is the new manager at the <br />Louisville Bank of the West branch. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1539, SERIES 2008 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO CONSENTING TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF <br />PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY BY THE COUNTY OF BOULDER, <br />COLORADO, FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS AND ENERGY <br />EFFICIENCY PROJECTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE - PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1539, Series 2008. <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing requested a Staff presentation <br />Assistant City Manager Heather Balser explained Ordinance No.1539, Series <br />2008 provides the City's consent to authorize improvements (renewable energy <br />and energy efficiency capital improvements for private property owners) on <br />properties located within Boulder County and within the city limits of Louisville. <br />Boulder County proposes a ballot issue for the November election which <br />provides for County-wide financing programs under House Bill 08-1350. <br />Boulder County will include on the ballot in November, the necessary <br />authorization to implement a Clean Energy Options Local Improvement District <br />county-wide. With this municipal authority to be included in the Clean Energy <br />Options Local Improvement District, and with County-wide approval of a <br />November ballot measure, property owners in Louisville would be eligible for this <br />
