6,/18/84 Page -7-
Mr. Haas stated they would not need services
below that drop-off. The entire area would
be on the top.
Mr. Wurl stated that the last plan that he
saw was a little further down the hill and
some left open on the top for the reservoir
expansion and more. He felt that it was
lower than what Councilman Luce has in his
mind as being the top of the hill.
Mi'. Haas stated they do in fact drop over the
hill and would be slightly higher with
walk-up basements, and the houses on the
up hill side can look over the houses on
the down hill side.
Councilman Fauson Stated his concern with the staggering of
tYie houses that all the sewers then would
bE~ under pressure and they would have to
have a lift station to bring that back.
Mr.. Haas stated they would have one lift
stration .
Mr-. Fauson also expressed concern with
the one access-.felt there would be prob-
lE~ms with emergency situations and the
Fire Department. This would be a detri-
ment.
Mr.. Ochsner stated in their original plan
acid when they spoke with Administrator
Wurl it was proposed that another access
would be near the exisiting reservoir as
the City owns this land and there are no
homes built there. They realized that in-
gz-ess, egress would be needed for emergencies.
Mr.. Wurl stated that just in terms of an
e~:planation, since Mr. Fauson was newly
elected to the Council, the City bought those
lots from the County from the east end of
that subdivision over to the Reservoir; and
iri order to make this connection, as stated
bE~fore, a piece of one of those lots would
have to be given up if in fact the Council
wE~re willing to do that, which would amount
to 60-80' of one of those lots to accomodate
i t: .
Mr. Haas commented if we are willing to give
you 60 acres don't. Council think they should
gE;t a peice of that lot to go through there
for the other access?
