4/1'7/84 Page -12-
REQUEST DENIED
Councilman Luce
Vote on the Motion
TRACK INN LIQUOR LICENSE
RENEWAL
Councilwoman Morris
96t1z Street, south of Dillon Road. It is
an existing subdivision - Paradise Acres,
consisting of large homes. The people on
the south side of the development are re-
questing annexation at this time that may
turn in to the 3 lots on the north side.
They are 10 and 20 acre sites. Mr. Wurl
stated that the annexation request involved
Mr. Larry Thompson also who is the owner of
Stairs, Inc. located at CTC. His recommen-
dation was that the regquest be referred
to the Planning Commission for their review
and recommendation.
Councilman Luce moved, Councilwoman Morris
sea~nded that the Alan & Diana Green Annex-
ation request be denied.
Commented the reason for his motion was two-
fold. First that it is outside the Urban
Services Area and has been stated by this
Council previously, we are have sufficient
concern in trying to serve people who
already have lots within the Urban Services
Area and within the City limits. Secondly,
in terms of gross acreage far exceeds what
this Council has considered to be a small
annexation.
Question called for. All in favor. Motion
carried unanimously.
councilmembers had a copy of the liquor
license application and incident report
from the Police Dept.
Conunented that in the past councilmembers
have been concerned about incidents that
have not been reported by liquor establish-
ments, or incidents that have been observed
by police officers. An incident that she felt
w~:;:: serious ,was the bartender serving alco-
holic beverages after hours which was ob-
served by the police officer. She did not
fef~l this was conducive to renewal of a
liquor license. She wished to hear comments
from other councilmembers as well as the
Po:Lice Chief to improve this situation.
Director Leesman advised that he spoke with
the officers regarding the serving of alco-
holic beverages after hours and when they
knocked on the door of the establishment
