2/7/84 Page -7 - <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS None. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT Councilmembers had a copy of the resolution <br />RESOLUTION #7 - HONORING anal Mayor Metier read it in its entirety. <br />LAWRENCE ENTRIETTO Mayor Meier presented the resolution and <br />a plaque to Mr. Lawrence Enrietto. He also <br />personally thanked him. not only for his 18 <br />years of dedicated service as the Municipal <br />Judge to the City, but for participating <br />in. the growth, in which he considered one <br />of the best little communities in the area. <br />Mayor Meier extended his deep. appreciation <br />four Mr. Enrietto's valued service to the City. <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION #7 Councilman Luce moved, Councilwoman Morris <br />seconded that Resolution #7, Series 1984 <br />Honoring Lawrence Enrietto be adopted. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE #808 - PUBLIC Councilmembers had a copy of the Ordinance <br />HEARING CONCERNING REFEREN- as, well as information pertaining to the <br />DUM PETITION public hearing and referendum. <br />Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and <br />Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper <br />publication of the public hearing. <br />Staff Presentation Director Rupp advised that he would make <br />some introductory comments. The City Attor- <br />ney will review the memo and existing agree- <br />mE~nt with the Planned Community Zoned Dis- <br />trict, and Administrator Wurl will cover <br />the financial portion, then the areas of <br />concern will be discussed. Slides were <br />shown of the present zoning that exists <br />iri the City with the Homart property. The <br />information sheets provided Councilmembers <br />wE~re taken from Homart' s application and <br />dE~scribed their existing position. A fact <br />sYieet was also make available that made a <br />comparison. <br />Zoning Director Rupp stated that under the existing <br />zoning there were 3 separate zoned districts, <br />R--E, Agricultural, and Community Commercial. <br />TYle total site represented 882 acres, of <br />which 182 acres was in the commercial desig- <br />nation, 446 acres open sapce, and 253 acres <br />rE~sidential. Depicting on the wall map an <br />area shown in red, Mr. Rupp stated was the <br />rE~gional mall site which was originally pro- <br />posed to be 1,000,000 sq.ft. <br />
