Shc: also provided Mr. Rupp with an additional amount of pamphlets to be given to the resi- dents. If additional pamphlets were needed Ms. Kudebeh stated that they should write Judy Richards at the State Health Dept. or call 320-4180 and she will be happy to supply thE~se. License Plate Monitoring Acting City Administrator Rupp inquired of Ms.. Kudebeh who would be moritoring the license plates - would be it people from the State? She; replied that the people who will be doing the license monitoring and traffic counts will be those from the municipalities anti counties; then correlated by the State Highway Dept. It is their contribution to the: effort and they have had phenomenal success with people donating their staff and time to the program. Mayor Meier requested that Ms. Kudebeh pro- vid'.e the Louisville Times with a news re- lease on the Better Air Compaign. Funding of the Program In reply to Councilwoman Johnson's question as to whom was funding the program, Ms. Kudebeh replied from the Federal EPA program and the State Highway Dept. amounting to $700,000. City to Support Better Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman John- Air Campaign son seconded that the Louisville City Council support this and urge the citizens of Louis- ville to support the Better Air Campaign. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. RECESS Mayor Meier called a recess at 7:57 P.M. while the equipment for the program was removed. Meeting reconvened at 8:03 P.M.
