10/16/84 Page -15- <br />ADOPTION WITH AMENDMENT <br />Vote On the Amendment <br />VOTE ON ORDINANCE NO. 838 <br />WITH FIRST AMENDMENT <br />Councilman Leary then referred to M. Re- <br />striced Rural Residential and asked if the <br />wording eliminated clustered housing. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus replied he did not feel <br />it eliminated clustered housing; also did not <br />think this zoning category is one that possibly <br />won't be used that often. The lots are larger <br />than most; but are not agricultural. <br />Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. <br />Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Luce seconded that <br />Ordinance No. 8:38 - Office Zone be adopted <br />with the amendment to Item L. including <br />any commercial activity in this zone; also <br />included in that any commercial activity <br />in the bottom of paragraph L. <br />Parlimentarian Rautenstraus advised that an <br />amendment to the motion took precedent over <br />the motion to adopt the ordinance; therefore <br />Council .would be voting on the last sentence <br />in paragraph L. changing it to read to any <br />allowed commercial activities, and the next <br />time Council would vote on the entire ordinance <br />with the other change would would add possibly, <br />Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Luce seconded <br />that the ordinance be amended in paragraph L. <br />to read to any allowed commercial activities. <br />All in favor. Meier opened the public hearing and <br />Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper publi- <br />cation of the public hearing notices. <br />Staff presentation - None. <br />Public comments in favor or in opposition of <br />Ordinance No. 843. None <br />
