10/16/84 Page -16- <br />Council questions and comments. <br />Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. <br />ADOPTION Counc:ilwoanan Jor-nson moved, <br />seconded that Ordinance No. <br />Fee Increase be adopted. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Luce Yes <br />Morris Yes <br />Fauson Yes <br />Meier Yes <br />Johnson Yes <br />Cussen Yes <br />Leary Yes <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilman Cussen <br />843 - Water Tap <br />ORDINANCE NO. 844 - ELECTRIC Counc.ilmembers had a copy of the Ordinance; <br />FENCES - PUBLIC HEARING Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />on second reading and public hearing scheduled, <br />and certified proper publication. <br />Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and <br />Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper publica- <br />tion of the public hearing notices. He also <br />advised that the ordinance had been amended <br />since first reading and so would need to be <br />passed as amended. <br />Any public comments in favor or against Ordinance <br />No. 844 - none. <br />Any public questions - none. <br />Council questions and comments. <br />Mayor Meier Commented that he did know of a few people <br />that had constructed electrical fences on <br />their property to keep ~ in dogs. One <br />specific case he knew of there doesn't seem <br />to be any public; danger or hazard to the general <br />public because of their fence and they would <br />kind of object to this type of ordinance. So <br />he was not certain that he was wholeheartedly <br />in favor of the ordinance. <br />ADOPTED AS AMENDED Councilwoman Johnson moved, Mayor Meier seconded <br />that Ordinance No. 844 - Electric Fences be <br />adopted as amended.
