Burlington-Northern RR for parking has been approved and signed by Burlington/ Northern. School Traffic Signal Mr. Rupp stated there had been some discussion about the school traffic signal at the Plan- ning Commission meeting and staff had asked the school district about this; and they view the signal to be in an appropriate lo- cation. The city staff, city engineers, and police department feel that perhaps a warrant study should be made, as there was some dis- cussion about removing the signal and relo- cating it. Apparently school children still use the signal to cross the street to use the pay telephone. Overall staff sees the plan as an improvement to the area and recommend approval of the plan. ADOPTION Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Luce seconded that Resolution No. 26 - The Center at Louis- ville - Final P.U.D./Special Review Use be adopted. All in favor. Motion carried unani- mously. RESOLUTION NO. 27 - BLUE Councilmembers had a copy of the resolution; PARROT KITCHEN ADDITION vicinity map, letter from contractor, excerpt FINAL P.U.D. of the Planning Commission minutes, and recom- mendation of the Plarming Commission. Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution in its entirety. Acting City Administrator Rupp gave a slide presentation showing the location at Pine and Main Sts., zoned commercial, lot size 93.6' x 150'. The applicant's. request was to add an addition creating a new kitchen facility for the Blue Parrot Restaurant. There will be two points of acess; existing curb cuts on Main St. and Pine Street. The existing brick house and concrete block garage east of the Blue Parrot will be re- moved and relocated - 6% of the area will be landscaped. Parking is provided in the Pine Street lot and south of the building. Staff: and Planning Commission recommended approval of the plan.
