Mr. Yoshioka assurred Councilman Leary this would be done in their analysis before the implementation plan is recommended. Mr. Yoshioka stated Phase II is due to be completed in December and first it will go through Boulder County for a comp plan amend- ment then it will go into DRCOG as a regional transportation plan amendment. If the Boulder County amendment plan is done in January, it would possibly go to DRCOD in March. PRESENTATION - AMPERSAND Councilmembers had a copy of a memo from SIGNS FOR DOWNTOWN PARKING Planner Cathy Kaza and other pertinent in- SELECTION OF SIGN MANUFACTURES formation relating to this item. The request was for Council authorization to proceed with signage of the downtown parking lots. hn Kjos, Ampersand Studios, Mr. John Kjos gave a slide presentation Inc. showing the study that they did within the City of Louisville concerning the parking identification, directional signage and regulatory signage. They proposed the colors plum with blue for the parking lots, direc- tional signage would be of green with gray. The durability of the signs of the signs should be for approximately 5-10 years depending upon the maintenance of them. Mayor Meier requested that the silk screen of the signs be given to the City in the event we should want to replace other signs in the downtown area. ' SELECTION AUTHORIZED Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Luce seconded that Planner Cathy Kasza be author- ized to proceed with the selection of Sign Associates, Inc. 2565 Curtis St., Denver, Colorado to manufacture the parking signs for the downtown area. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. BEAUPREZ LETTER - PISZEK Councilmembers had a copy of a letter from PROPERTY - DRAINAGE MATTER Wallace Grant, an Attorney representing Mr. Beauprez and Mr. Piszek as well as a map showing the location of the property effected by the drainage.
