He felt that council had to be <br /> prepared to alterating the 321 off system. <br />Meier Mayor Meier noted that the city parks on <br /> their automatic systems pull quite a bit <br /> water and the surrounding homes have <br /> suffered poor pressure. <br />Kasch Mr. Kasch stated that the parks timers would <br /> be set for 3 and 6 a.m. Also their timers <br /> are set for the bare minimal <br /> <br />Luce Councilman Luce asked what~the net effect of <br />- the mismanufacture of the high zone pumps? <br />Kasch Mr. Kasch stated about ten days. He stated <br /> that the high zone pump station has been <br /> pulled of~the critical path and put all the <br /> basis-on the pre-treatment tiet3 in and <br /> they later get the high zone pumps put <br /> immediately in. <br />Fauson Councilman Fauson asked relative to the <br /> ya~,piping, if that included the water <br /> from the back-wash recycle system. <br />Kasch Mr. Kasch stated that the back-wash recPy~= <br /> system will be staged totally different. <br />Fauson Councilman Fauson asked what determined the <br /> back-wash, time. <br />Kasch Mr. Kasch noted that back-washing is a direct <br /> relationship to how dirty the water is and <br /> how good it's being pre-treated. <br />Fauson Councilman Fauson asked if this could not be <br /> done at a time when there is no demand, evening <br />Kasch Mr. Kasch stated that it is done throughout the <br /> day as it is necessary. <br />Morris Councilperson Morris moved that the July 3rd, <br /> 1984 Memo from Karl Kasch to Leon Wurl,(items <br /> 3 and 4) be approved. - <br /> Motion seconded by Johnson. <br /> Leary Councilman Leary asked what was happenning <br /> ~ to the budget on these project fast-tracking? <br /> <br /> Kasch Mr. Kasch stated that he would be back-tracking <br /> though the 20 year capital improvement program <br /> to review the ramtifications of this as relates <br /> to the Howard Berry Water Treatment Plant. <br />
