Louisville City Council Meeting <br />June 15, 2004 <br />Page 7 of 10 <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved that Ordinance No. 1450, Series 2004 be published and a <br />public hearing be set for July 6, 2004, seconded by Council member Levihn. <br /> <br />Council Discussion: Council member Van Pelt voiced her concern over the moratorium <br />on rezoning for residential uses only. She felt the moratorium should include all uses. <br />Mayor Sisk expressed his opinion the commercial development enhances the City <br />economically. <br /> <br />VOTE: All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1451, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROHIBIT PARKING OF <br />UNREGISTERED VEHICLES ON PUBLIC STREETS AND ESTABLISHING <br />PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF - 1st reading - set public hearing <br />7/6/04 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1451, Series 2004. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved that Ordinance No. 1451, Series 2004 be published and a <br />public hearing be set for July 6, 2004, seconded by Council member Keany. All in favor. <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1452, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AN <br />ENCLAVE PROPERTY, KNOWN AS THE HOYLE ANNEXATION, TO THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 1st reading - set public hearing 7/20/04 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1452, Series 2004, and explained this is an <br />annexation ordinance only. He asked for Council direction on the scheduling of a zoning <br />ordinance. He explained the City has 90 days after the adoption of the annexation <br />ordinance to zone the property. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Richard Lopez, Attorney for the Virginia and Ira Hoyle Family Trust, 4450 Arapahoe, <br />Boulder, CO, reviewed the history of the Hoyle property. He voiced his concern over the <br />lack of a zoning ordinance, the proposal for a temporary moratorium on residential <br />development within the City, and discussion relative to a moratorium on all uses. <br /> <br />Robert Hoyle, 10101 Dillon Road, Broomfield, CO, had questions for the Council and <br />Staff relative to the annexation proceedings, and access to City water. He reviewed a <br />history of the family's property and stressed their desire to become a part of the City of <br />Louisville. <br /> <br /> <br />
