It also requires input and <br />support from Public Works for installation of a safe network of Transit Paths on <br />city streets, paths and enhanced street design. <br />In addition: <br />New bike lanes have been recently installed. <br />One new underpass project has recently been completed, with another <br />planned. <br />A bike cage is being installed at the Highway 36 overpass. <br />The Police Department has two bikes to use internally. <br />A preliminary First and Final Mile study has been initiated. <br />The Transportation Master Plan would be extremely useful in making a more <br />thorough study of outstanding needs, desires and feasibility of transportation <br />priorities.
