Historical Commission <br />Minutes <br />September 14, 2017 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />Louisville area. The Commission members discussed ideas to mention for the next <br />meeting with Roybal on October 2nd <br />B. Second public meeting — Monday, October 2, 2017 at 6 PM in Council Chambers: <br />Commission members were encouraged to attend the second meeting to see the further <br />revised design and make comments. <br />C. Revised date for City Council meeting: <br />The meeting when Roybal will make a presentation to City Council will be on December <br />5th <br />X. Pioneer Award to be presented January 2018 - Discussion of nominations (Final selection <br />decision to be made at the next meeting in November 2017): <br />Commission members discussed nominations for recipients for the 2018 Pioneer Award. <br />XI. Chairperson's Report: No report <br />XII. Items of common interest with the Historic Preservation Commission: reports from <br />HPC liaison to HC and HC liaison to HPC: There was no meeting last month for the HPC. <br />Chuck did report that there are some demo permit applications to be discussed at the next <br />HPC meeting. Also, he reported that the City approved for the miners cabins to be moved to <br />City property, but a decision about a final location had not been made. <br />XIII. Louisville History Foundation update: The Foundation has entered a contract with a <br />nonprofit consultant to conduct a feasibility study for a capital campaign to raise funds for <br />the new Museum building. In another update, the Foundation will be giving out the <br />traditional treat bags again this year at the Parade of Lights. <br />XIV. Commission comments & discussion items for next meeting: None <br />XV.
