The answer was hopefully in <br />December. <br />Lipton asked about the plan to train employees and if he was aware of the <br />training offered by the Louisville Police Department. Mr. Ingraham stated all <br />employees go through TIPS training and he will be sending employees to the <br />local training as well. <br />Lipton asked for any comments in favor of the application. None were heard. <br />Lipton asked for any member of the audience who wished to speak in opposition <br />to the application. Hearing none, she asked for the applicant's closing remarks. <br />Mr. Ingraham noted they are really happy to have their restaurant located in <br />Louisville. <br />Lipton thanked the applicant, closed the public hearing and asked for Authority <br />comment. <br />Machado stated the Authority wants the liquor licensees to know the police <br />department in Louisville is very engaged with the establishments and that works <br />well to avoid problems. He encouraged them to work cooperatively with the <br />police department. <br />Carlson moved the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville find the <br />applicant is of good moral character, the inhabitants of the neighborhood desire <br />the license be granted, the license will meet the reasonable requirements of the <br />neighborhood, all City and State law requirements have been met and, based on <br />these findings, the Local Licensing Authority approve issuance of a hotel and <br />restaurant liquor license for Verde No. 2 Limited Partnership doing business as <br />Verde Louisville. Machado seconded. All in favor. License approved. <br />A. Public Hearing — FATE Beer LLC d/b/a FATE Brewing Company — <br />Brew Pub License — 1772 Prairie Way Units J&K <br />Lipton opened the public hearing on the brew pub liquor license application. <br />Secretary Hanson stated the application was complete and included in the <br />Authority packet. Background checks were conducted. The hearing had been <br />posted and published in accordance with state law. There was no reason found <br />to require denial of the application. <br />Chairperson Lipton called for any member disclosures: Lipton disclosed she <br />knows the family but felt it would not affect her decision — Watson disclosed <br />FATE is a part of the brew association he works for but he did not feel it posed <br />any conflict of interest for this hearing — Carlson noted he knows the applicant <br />but it would not present any conflict. <br />
