Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: October 27, 2003 <br />Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />Liquor License Transfer- Hajloo Inc., d/b/a Old Sante Fe Mexican Grille - Hotel <br />& Restaurant License - 994 Dillon Road. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton called for applicant presentation. <br /> <br />Asghar Hajloo, owner of Old Sante Fe Mexican Grille, requested the Authority transfer <br />the liquor license from Ruby Tuesday's to Old Sante Fe Mexican Grille. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton called for Authority questions on the transfer application. <br /> <br />Mulvahill asked if the City had received the FBI fingerprints report. <br /> <br />City Clerk Varra reported the FBI fingerprinting has been received and reflected no <br />criminal history. <br /> <br />Authority Attorney Tiffanie Bleau voiced her concern relative to the two corporations, <br />Louisville Restaurant, LLC and Hajloo, Inc. Her concern centered on the Louisville <br />Restaurant, LLC's financial interest in the liquor license. She requested clarification on <br />the individual histories and application. <br /> <br />Mr. Hajloo reported that Louisville Restaurant, LLC purchased the property and leased it <br />to Hajloo, Inc. d/b/a Sante Fe Mexican Grille. <br /> <br />Bleau requested an affidavit disclaiming that Louisville Restaurant, LLC has a financial <br />interest in the liquor license. <br /> <br />Mulvahill mOved that the Authority approve the transfer application for Hajloo, Inc. d/b/a <br />as Old Santa Fe Mexican Grille subject to the following conditions: 1 .The applicant <br />submit an affidavit disclaiming Louisville Restaurant, LLC having a financial interest in <br />the liquor license. 2. The applicant's individual history be amended to reflect that his <br />wife, Deborah, has a financial interest in the liquor license. Motion seconded by Lipton. <br />Roll call vote: Wilson-yes, Lipton-yes, Koertje-yes, Mulvahill-yes, Kimmett-yes. Motion <br />carried. Paige absent. <br /> <br />D° <br /> <br />Renewal Application - Tokyo Inc., d/b/a Tokyo Joe's - Hotel and Restaurant - <br />1116 W.-Dillon Street <br /> <br />The Authority had had concerns about the terms of lease for Tokyo Joe's but the <br />Authority Attorney looked at the lease and they cannot request a renewal of the lease <br />until closer to the expiration. <br /> <br />Lipton made a motion that the Authority approves the renewal of the license with the <br />stipulation that if they do not have a request for renewal of the lease within 4-5 days of <br />the license renewal the Authority will request a show cause hearing.
