Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: August 26, 2002 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />Member Wilson made a motion to approve the transfer license of T. Pham <br />Enterprises, Inc., d/b/a Brass Monkey Wine & Spirits. Member Paige seconded <br />the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton-yes, Koertje-yes, Kimmett-yes, Sackett-yes, <br />Paige-yes. All were in favor, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Magin asked the Authority if there would be any reason the State would turn <br />down the application. Attorney Harrington replied that the Authority could not <br />answer for the State, but the Authority saw nothing in the application that caused <br />it to be turned down. <br /> <br />New Liquor License Application - Jalisco Fiesta, Inc., d/b/a Cancun Mexican <br />Restaurant - Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License - 1006 Pine Street. <br /> <br />Mr. Angel Flores introduced himself as the owner of Jalisco Fiesta, Inc., d/b/a <br />Cancun Mexican Restaurant. <br /> <br />Member Paige made a motion to set the neighborhood boundaries as the City of <br />Louisville corporate boundaries and set the public hearing date for September <br />30, 2002. Member Kimmett seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton-yes, <br />Koertje-yes, Kimmett-yes, Sackett-yes, Paige-yes. All were in favor, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> <br />A. Incident Report - Druids Arms (8/02/02) <br /> <br />Member Kimmett wondered who reported the incident to the police. Chairperson <br />Lipton commented that some of the reports coming to the Authority are not <br />complete. There were no follow up reports. <br /> <br />The Authority concluded that no liquor violations occurred. <br /> <br />B. Incident Report - Gentleman Jim's (8/19/02) <br /> <br />Member Kimmett stated that there was no follow up report on this incident. <br />Member Sackett wondered if Chairperson Lipton could send a memo to the <br />police department asking for more information to be included in the police <br />reports. Attorney Harrington suggested that Deputy Schmidt be the liaison <br />between the Authority and the police department. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton suggested tabling this report until the next meeting. Member <br />Sackett made a motion to table Gentleman Jim's incident report. Chairperson <br />Lipton seconded the motion.
