A few dates still need to be worked out for the Silent Movie events. • Andy reviewed the concert schedule with Julie S. X) Events update and PR • Julie K reported that all the events from last year must be represented on the final report to SCFD. Susan will include that in the final report. • Lynn is considering a weekend artist show and workshop for next year. • Julie K. reported that people sitting at the Y/A show over the next few weekends should track the number of people attending. • Lynn will report the total on the Y/A show event report and split the numbers between the LAA and LCC. • Action Item :Kathy will send food receipts to Lynn for the Y/A show. • Maryan PR report: Maryan reported that the Louisville Times did a feature on some recent LCC events. She approached the editor regarding publishing an events calendar, but there does not seem to be interest from them. • Carol reported she tried to access the ArtsHub web link, but it was reported that it is not active until next year in January. XI) New Arts Center • Lynn reported on recent efforts. Don approached the architecture school at CU for students to do renderings of the center. XII) Fundraising • Lynn is beginning to plan for a fundraising gala for the Arts Center. • Lynn reported that the sale of bookmarks raised $43.00. • Jim reported that items should be marked as tax included. • Lynn reported that parents would need to sign paperwork to give permission for art reproductions from student's artwork at the Y/A show. XIII) Art in the Park • Maryan did not have anything to report. XIV) Grants • Action Item: Kathy M will send out another email to team about Grant resources.
