LCityot <br />Louisville <br />Parks & Recreation <br />Memorandum <br />To: Recreation Advisory Board <br />From: Ginger Cross, Marketing <br />Date: 9/19/18 <br />Subject: Marketing Update — Marketing and Outreach for Recreation 'Senior Center <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this agenda item is to present the board with the updated vision, mission and <br />goals for the Recreation 'Senior Center that have been developed by staff and the RAB <br />marketing and outreach subcommittee and the suggestions that were made by the board at the <br />last meeting. To discuss the taglines that were presented at the last meeting and see if there are <br />any favorites or new suggestions. <br />These worksheets are preliminary drafts and are presented for discussion only. <br />Next Steps <br />Refined based on input from RAB, subcommittee and staff; however, a continued work in <br />progress as the subcommittee has not met in person providing input via email and not fully <br />vetted by staff. After input is received from both board and staff, revisions will be made and a <br />final documents will be presented to the RAB marketing subcommittee and then the full RAB <br />board at the October meeting. The end result of these documents will be guidelines for <br />marketing and outreach moving forward, including a new tagline. <br />
