DRAFT 8/15/00 <br /> 3 Section 70514 is deleted in its entirety <br /> 4 Section 708.0 is amended to read as follows. <br /> 708 0 Horizontal. drainage piping shall be run in practical <br /> alignment and for pipe up to and including 3", have a umform <br /> slope of not less than one-fourth (1/4") of an inch per foot <br /> (20.9mm/m). Piping 4" and larger shall have a uniform slope of <br /> not less than one-eighth(1/8") of an inch per foot(10 4 mm/m). <br /> 5 Section 801 2(a) is amended to read as follows <br /> 801.2(a) Three compartment pot and pan sinks installed in <br /> commercial kitchens may be directly connected to the plumbing <br /> waste system provided there is a floor drain or floor sink installed <br /> within five feet (5') immediately downstream of the sink waste <br /> line, in the same room and no other fixtures are connected to the <br /> waste line (See diagram Exhibit A.1). <br /> 6 Section 801 2(b) is amended to read as follows. <br /> Three compartment pot and pan sinks installed in commercial <br /> kitchens may be indirectly connected to the waste line provided <br /> that they drain into an approved receptor of such size, shape, and <br /> capacity as to prevent splashing or flooding, be in the same room <br /> and are readily accessible for cleaning and inspection (See <br /> diagram Exhibit A.2). <br /> 7 Section 807 4 is amended by the addition of a new Section <br /> 807 4(a)to read as follows. <br /> No domestic dishwashing machine shall be directly connected to <br /> a drainage system or food waste disposer without the use of an <br /> approved dishwasher airgap fitting on the discharge side of the <br /> dishwashing machine. Listed airgaps shall be installed with the <br /> flood level (FL)marking at or above the flood level of the sink or <br /> drainboard, whichever is higher, or separately trapped with the <br /> airgap located on the stand pipe(See diagram Exhibit A.3). <br /> 8 Section 911 0 is amended by the addition of a new Section, to <br /> read as follows. <br /> Section 911 1. Single bathroom groups-a single bathroom group of <br /> fixtures may be installed with the drain from an individually <br /> vented lavatory or lavatories serving as a wet vent for a bathtub, <br /> shower compartment, or floor dram and for a water closet provided <br /> 4 <br />
