VI. Public Comment on Items Not on the Agenda
From: Fil Bagwadia
To: Dean Johnson
Sent: Thursday, August 30, 2018, 2:32:48 PM MDT
Subject: West Sycamore Court
Hello Dean:
It was nice of you to call me a day or so ago in response to my concerns. The circle or round -about at the
end of Sycamore Court in Louisville is extremely unsightly and could end up with a hazardous or safety
situation. There is a lot of uncontrolled growth of shrubs and mainly weeds that make the courtyard very
unpleasant to look at and is in dire need of some tender care from the city.
Being a cul-de-sac, a number of children play there and I have noticed, on a couple of occasions, that an
unsafe situation is created.
a: A kid runs into the circle full of sharp growths to retrieve his or her ball for instance and gets something
in the face or the eye.
b: Pulling out of the garage, the visibility is poor due to the growth and one cannot see a kid playing on
the side of the circle.
c: Due to some cars parked along the road next to the round -about, there is limited space to drive without
some shrubbery actually scratching by your car window.
am attaching some photographs for you look at. Hoping this situation can be rectified.
P.S. Why is that circle even there? Getting rid of it could solve both the safety and maintenance
issues
4
