ORDINANCE NO. 1272, SERIES 1997 - REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION <br />15.12.07q OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO REDUCE THE ASSESSMENT <br />AGAINST EACH WATER USER WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE - 2ND READING - <br />PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 11/22/97) <br /> <br />Light read by title only Ordinance No. 1272, Series 1997, "An ordinance repealing and reenacting <br />Section 13.12.070 of'the Louisville Municipal Code to reduce the assessment against each water user <br />within the City of Louisville." <br /> <br />Dianne Ray, Finance Director, stated that the Water Bond was paid in full in 1996 and the 1989 <br />General Obligation Water Bond is budgeted to be paid in full in 1998. This ordinance phases out the <br />entire water assessment over the next five years. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on this ordinance. <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments or questions. <br /> <br />Davidson pointed out that this is the largest deduction the City had ever done. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1272, Series 1997, repealing and reenacting <br />Section 13.12.070 of'the Louisville Municipal Code to reduce the assessment against each water user <br />in Louisville, seconded by Keany. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1273, SERIES 1997 - INCREASING WATER AND SEWER TAP FEES <br />IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, CO - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. <br />TIMES 11/22/97) <br /> <br />Light read by title only Ordinance No. 1272, Series 1997, "An ordinance increasing water and sewer <br />tap fees in the City of Louisville, Colorado." <br /> <br />Dianne Ray, Finance Director, explained that fees charged by the City of' Louisville are to be <br />increased annually at a rate to match inflation. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance No. 1273. <br />NONE ~ <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments or motions. <br /> <br />Howard explained that this ordinance insures that the existing citizens do not subsidize new home <br />construction. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
