Sec. 8.64.100. - Supervision, accounting and budgeting. <br />A. The department of public works shall be responsible for supervision <br />of the city's refuse, and single -stream recycling and compostable materials <br />collection services program. <br />B The finance director shall segregate residential refuse,. and single - <br />stream recycling and compostable materials collection service expenditures and <br />revenues from the general fund expenditures and revenues and provide a general <br />accounting for the expenditures and revenues. For each budget cycle, a projection <br />of residential refuse1 and single -stream recycling and compostable materials <br />collection services expenditures and revenues shall be made as part of the city <br />budget process. <br />Section 13. Chapter 8 64 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to add a <br />new section 8 64 110, to read as follows. <br />Sec. 8.64.110.- Hauler licensing. <br />A. Prior to operating as a hauler within the city, each hauler shall obtain <br />a current annual hauler license from the Boulder County Resource Conservation <br />Division for such activity, and provide proof of such licensure to the city <br />B The application for a hauler license shall be obtained from and <br />submitted to the Boulder County Resource Conservation Division on a completed <br />Boulder County Hauler Licensing Program Application and Self -Certification <br />Form, accompanied by the hauler license fee as required pursuant to Boulder <br />County Ordinance No 2016-1 <br />Section 14. Chapter 8 64 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to add a <br />new section 8 64 120, to read as follows. <br />Sec. 8.64.120.- Hauler licensing exemptions. <br />The following persons or entities shall not be subject to hauler license <br />requirements of section 8 64 110• <br />A. A civic, communuty, benevolent or charitable nonprofit organization <br />collecting, transporting and marketing recyclables solely for the purpose of raising <br />funds for a civic, community, benevolent or charitable activity <br />B A property owner or agent thereof who transports refuse, recycling <br />or compostable materials left by a tenant upon such owner's property, so long as <br />such property owner is not compensated for such collection service on regular or <br />continuing basis. <br />Ordinance No. 1766, Series 2018 <br />Page 7 of 9 <br />
