HERBERT BEATRICE SANABRIA, 380 SEMINO DRIVE, BOULDER, CO 80303

SECRETARY:

Would you please raise your right hand. Do you solemnly swear or affirm under
penalty of perjury that the testimony you are about to give will be the truth, the whole
truth, and nothing but the truth?

HERBERT:

VICE
CHAIR:

Would you make your presentation please?

HERBERT:

I wanted to comment on the reason why we wanted to apply for a liquor license.
Abo's has been a part of Boulder's community for the past fourteen years. Beer and
pizza has been a part of it since that time and based on that we feel if we are going
to have an Abo's pizza in Louisville that beer would satisfy that Abo's tradition of
beer and pizza, the traditional trademark.

BEATRICE SANABRIA, 380 SEMINO DRIVE, BOULDER, CO 80303

SECRETARY:

Would you please raise your right hand. Do you solemnly swear or affirm under
penalty of perjury that the testimony you are about to give will be the truth, the whole
truth, and nothing but the truth?

BEATRICE:

I swear.

VICE
CHAIR:

Would you make your presentation please?

BEATRICE:

We are applying for a beer and wine license because we have had a lot of requests
in our other Abo's in Crossroads Mall. People are always saying they like beer with
their pizza. Pizza without beer is not good enough, and it is also traditional from
New York City. Our pizza is from New York City, so we think we need to please
our customers and that it will be good for all of us.

VICE
CHAIR:

Does any interested party in the audience have questions of the applicant?

NONE.

VICE
CHAIR:

Do any members of the Authority have questions of the applicants?

KIMMETT:

Did I understand you to say that your outlets in Boulder do have liquor licenses?

HERBERT:

Abo's is set up as a franchise, there are three owners and two out the current five
Abo's in Boulder have wine and beer licenses, the other three don't. The one we
own in Crossroads right now does not have a beer license, because that is against
mall regulations.
