iMpounding that have accrued to the time of such payment and release, <br /> which money shall be immediately paid into the Treasury. <br /> Section 6. - WARRANT OF POLICE MAGISTRATE, FOR SALE AFTER THREE DAYS. <br /> If such animal shall not be claimed by the owner thereof within said <br /> period of three days , and all costs of their impounding paid as afore- <br /> said, then said Town Marshal shall at once procure from the Police <br /> Magistrate his warrant for the sale of such animals at public sale to <br /> the highest bidder for cash, which warrant may be in following form <br /> to-wit: <br /> Whereas, the Town Marshal of the Town of Louisville , has complained to <br /> me that he has taken up and impounded ( describing such animal) found <br /> running at large within said Town of Louisville , contrary to the Or- <br /> dinances of said Town, and that the owner of said animals is unknown <br /> to him, and that he has given notice in three public places in the <br /> Town of Louisville, and that if not claimed in three days after date <br /> of posting said notices, he would proceed to sell said animals at <br /> Public Sale for the highest price cash paid, to pay the costs of <br /> said impounding, and that the owner of said animals has not claimed <br /> the same within three days. <br /> Therefore the Town Marshal is hereby authorized ,to sell each and all <br /> of said animals at Public Sale and for the highrst and best price the <br /> same will bring in cash; said sale to take place within twentyfour <br /> hours from the date of this warrant. <br /> Dated at Louisville , Colorado, this day of A. D. , 19 at <br /> o' clock M. Police Magistrate of the Town of LouisvilIF <br /> Section 7. TOWN MARSHAL PAYS PROCEEDS OF SALE TO CLERK OF LOUISVILLE <br /> Upon the sale of any such animals , aforesaid, the Town Marshal shall <br /> pay all money received from such sale to the Town Clerk. The said <br /> Town Clerk shall keep proper and correct books, showing the impound- <br /> ing of all animals and the disposition of the same and reciepts from <br /> the sale thereof. <br /> Section 8. OWNER ENTITLED TO WARRANT FOR THE SURPLUS WITHIN SIX <br /> MONTHS. <br /> Whenever any money shall be paid into the Treasury from the sale of such <br /> animals under the provisions of this chapter, the owners of the ani- <br /> mals from which such moneys arose shall be entitled to have a war- <br /> rant from the council upon the Town Treasurer for any surplus above <br /> the expenses which have been incurred; Provided, such owner shall <br /> make application therefore , and give satisfactory proof of ownership <br /> within six months after the sale of such animals. <br /> Section 9. BREAKING INTO CITY POUND PROHIBITED; ALSO INTERFERING <br /> WITH TOWN OFFICER. <br /> Any person or persons who shall break or in any way, or manner di- <br /> rectly, or indirectly, aid or assist in breaking open any pen or en- <br /> closure used as and for the Towr pound or part thereof, with the in- <br /> tent of releasing any animals therein confined pursuant to the pro- <br /> visions of this chapter, shall upon conviction thereof, be fined as <br /> herein provided. Any person who shall delay, hinder, or obstruct <br /> the Town Officers or any person acting under the Town Marshal in <br /> the discharge of any duty herein mentioned, shall be liable to the <br /> penalty provided for in this chapter. <br />
